Take your G&T up a notch by adding a splash of cold espresso

We’re still happily vibing with the classic G&T for National Gin & Tonic day, and I am always on the lookout for ways to upgrade my favorite drink. Hendrick’s Gin has some fun suggestions, incorporating ingredients like cold espresso coffee of using distinctive gins to add a bit of extra flair to this classic drink.

Build in a highball glass over ice, and garnish with a slice of cucumber to create this refreshingly curious G&T with NEW Hendrick’s OASIUM.

The Hendrick’s & Tonic

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Hendrick’s Gin
  • 3 parts Premium Tonic Water
  • 3 rounds of Cucumber
  • Cucumber to Garnish

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and lightly stir. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber and serve. There’s a good reason the Hendrick’s & Tonic, with its cucumber garnish, is so loved. Try the refreshing cocktail and experience the wonder of its rose and cucumber essence for yourself!

Supersonic Gin & Tonic


Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
  • 1 bar spoon Simple Syrup
  • 1 part Fresh Espresso (left to go cold)
  • 2 parts Premium Tonic Water
  • Cucumber to garnish

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and lightly stir. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber and serve for a curious Hendrick’s twist on this classic G&T.

Plenty of celebs have their own tequila brands, but it's rarer to see interest in gin. Hip hop legends Dre and Snoop are on it though, with a recent launch of their own ultra-premium gin -- and one of the brand's recipe suggestions is a controversial one that I'm hugely in favor of.

The recipe from Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop, which, as its name suggests, is a gin from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, is an alternative to the Bloody Mary which you'll sometimes see called a Red Snapper. It replaces the vodka with gin, which is a change that I love -- I find that the sharp, juniper notes of gin do a great job cutting through the thickness of the tomato juice, and help to add a pungent, almost herbal quality to the drink.

Minden Mill American Single Malt Whiskey

This terroir-driven whiskey is made with 100% estate-grown barley malted on-site. It's mashed with M1 yeast and water from the brand's well outside the distillery. It's distilled in dual, all-copper Forsyth stills crafted in Speyside, Scotland. It's matured for five years in a combination of Oloroso sherry, ex-bourbon, and American oak as well as re-charred wine and sherry butts. All in climate-controlled barrelhouses designed to mimic the temperature and humidity found in Speyside.
